The place is phenomenal. In the forest itself in beautiful nature. They have two large parking lots. They also have a beautiful garden next to the river. The prices are more than great. Before you stop by, first walk through the forest and fill your lungs with fresh air by the river itself. So after a good walk, stop by for lunch.

We received a very friendly welcome and the stop at the inn was a wonderful surprise on our hike. In contrast to all the other inns in the corner, there was no day of rest on Monday. The waffles were delicious, as was the coffee.

I liked it there very much. The food was home-style ... but very tasty. I would love to come back ????

The best thing about this place is the kitchen that is open all day. Today, after a walk through the beautiful Gelpe Valley, I'm more in the mood for a delicious piece of homemade crumble cake and a cappuccino. Enjoying both, I look around and think that time has stood still here. In the middle of the room I can still see the dance floor, which is framed by a railing. Behind it is the slightly raised, small stage, which was used to dance regularly until the sixties and seventies of the last century, with "handmade" live music. I almost think I can still hear the sound of the electric guitar on which the Shadows song "Apache" is being played. But then my journey through time is suddenly interrupted with the question "Would you like to pay?" The waiter stands next to me, smiling. I nod to him, put a few coins with the words "that's right" on the table and say goodbye with the thought that I will definitely not have been here for the last time.

Incredibly outrageous. Yesterday wanted to celebrate a birthday with 8 people. In the otherwise nice-looking location, there is such a motivated waiter that a chimpanzee would do his job better and the place would run better. When the two of us arrived in advance at the establishment, we were already informed that another 6 people are not welcome or even entertained. After the birthday guests arrived anyway (because they thought it was a normal, nice and sales-oriented restaurant) we were referred to two tables that were far apart. Since there was a very large group sitting together at the next table, we asked if they could simply push the chairs together. The arrogant waiter was sloppy - after asking why it didn't work (and it would have been because his nice colleague wanted to do it) he referred us from the shop. How insolent please is this behavior ?? Never ever again

The beer garden is nice, you can sit well. The food is average but okay. Reservation is not desired.

Everything is wonderful. Food great. Hygiene regulations fully met. Nice and friendly

I reserved a table and with my gesture I was there exactly and at that time, only my table was not because I had to look for a different place with 10 people on Sunday

Very nice, small and lovingly decorated restaurant / beer garden ... very friendly staff, special requests are catered for and appropriate solutions are sought if adjustments are not possible! Big compliments for that! The atmosphere is just awesome ... and what I found very nice there is a parking lot for horses ^^ -never seen - just great!

We sat outside and enjoyed nature with a delicious tarte flambée and a house beer. Location is in the middle of the forest. Parking spaces are available.

Anyone who is satisfied with a nice beer garden in the excursion area for jogging and dog walkers, nice walks, with a cold beer or spritzer, home-style cuisine, or a flank cake, is in good hands here. The service was probably annoyed because of Corona. I felt unwelcome. It would certainly be more friendly.

Price / performance ratio is unfortunately not correct. Was back after over a year because of a birthday and the food is still bad (salted, dry, little) and on top of that you had to wait over an hour. If I don't have to, I will probably go somewhere else

The house Zillertal also has a beautiful terrace. To protect against the sun there is a parasol on almost every table. Corona is currently allocating places. The service is friendly. After a long walk, many like to stop here.

We had very friendly service and delicious, homemade cake here. The beer garden is totally beautiful and the peace in nature is wonderful.

Great BBQ ribs Mondays and Wednesdays. Very well located to make a stop with the MTB and to strengthen.

The restaurant has a good menu and the food tastes really great! However, we waited extremely long for our meal, although the restaurant was not so strongly visited at all. The waitress came often and said "Your food will come in the next 5 minutes", but 20 minutes later still nothing happened and she came again to tell us the same thing. Altogether we waited 1.5 hours for our meal! And when I wanted to eat after waiting for so long, I discovered a hair in my dish. The food itself tasted great, but something like that shouldn't happen. In addition, the service staff should rather tell you honestly at the beginning that it takes longer with the food today.

Have eaten here many a lunchtime. The setting is beautiful, nestled in the forest. The restaurant is large and spacious and looks like it belongs in a fairy tale or Brothers Grimm story book. The exterior has tables in a beautiful garden. They offer typical German food and have a wide range of deserts and cakes for something lighter. The waffles are a typical dessert of this region and very tasty. For those watching their calories a brisk walk up to the dam afterwards will soon burn them right off. The staff are friendly and very hard working! The place is always busy and thriving. My four star rating does not reflect their effort but trying to get their attention sometimes is understandably difficult also their are no disabled toilets and due to the age and design of the building it is not wheelchair friendly.

The best german food I have ever tasted!!!!!!!!! The excellent taste, quality and presentation of each dish and also the equally good service, makes us wanting to back for more...(!!!) Until our next visit then!!!!!!!!! Highly recommended for all age groups!!!!!! You MUST go there and try their seriously delicious food and cakes!!!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️

The food there tastes delicious. The location in good weather really great. However, it may take a little bit longer to convince yourself :)
